Art Deco French Jean Gerbino Vallauris Micro Mosaic Ceramic Pottery Vase Signed

This is a lovely multi-color mosaic ceramic vase with green highlights created by Jean Gerbino (1876- 1966) in Vallauris, France, in the early to mid 20th century.

Jean Gerbino was a master ceramicist who worked in the pottery center of Vallauris, France (near Cannes). He won the Grand Prize in Paris in 1931 after working for 15 years to perfect his technique for creating these unique mosaic ceramics,

The vase bears his impressed “Gerbino” mark as well as “Vallauris
